Which one is He?

“WHICH ONE IS HE?”

As I have roamed this “world” and cleaned people’s homes this “season” the Lord through His Holy Spirit laid a question upon my heart. Cleaning homes (and being out in the world!) I am exposed to all kinds of décor this time of the year. Wiping and blowing dust off of several “nativity” scenes (that by the way are not set up according to scripture) I looked at them and this question was laid upon me: WHICH STATUE IS JESUS? There are portrayals of serious ones~ cutesy ones~ impy looking ones~ hipster ones~ Precious Moment versions…on and on and on! If this truly is ALL about Jesus The Son Of God why so many portrayals? I will tell you why. Because we do not know what Jesus looked like~ we worship Him the way we want~and MOSTLY because HE IS TAKEN EVER SO LIGHTLY 😢

Scripture IS truth! As Christians-BIBLE BELIEVING- we are to search God’s Written Word~like The Bereans~to see if something we are told or see is truth. God’s Truth. Scripture tells us how to worship Him the way God instructs us to in one verse:

John 4:24

24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

IT’S THAT SIMPLE! We are not to worship Him with images. That is a commandment. I know it can be difficult to shake all the images we have been shown our entire life’s of a “Jesus” . But with God and for God ALL things are possible!

I do not believe God made us “VISUAL” people when it comes to worshipping Him. If He did why would He have said that we are to worship Him in SPIRIT and in TRUTH? Trick of the devil. Aaron thought when he built the golden calf that he was using it to worship God. That didn’t go over to well did it?

I was a HUGE celebrator of this manmade tradition! Believe me! Now that I have had the religious veil removed I have been blessed to have had my eyes opened to many non-truths. This “celebration/tradition” and the “spirit” behind it being one. Believe me it was SHOCKING! But again it has been another choice I have had to make: God’s way? Man’s way?  You know my choice.

I pray that you too will seek His truth. As a Born Again believer I celebrate Him everyday. I am not telling you not to celebrate. I am asking you WITH LOVE to seek God’s Truth. His truth will set you free! There is a “bondage” that comes with this celebration that the TRUE spirit of The Lord does not put upon us! He keeps us filled with the joy of our Redeemer-our Saviour-JESUS THE CHRIST- GOD’S ONLY BEGOTTEN SON-through His Holy Spirit year round-unlike the crash and burn effect that can happen to most after the celebration is over-and the “spirit of Christmas” has left us. (I remember that empty feeling.) It’s not about us and what we want…IT IS ABOUT GOD AND WHAT HE WANTS.

Shared with the ABSOLUTE love of God’s Truth that sets us free! ❤️❤️❤️

John 8:32

32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Gluttony…

… has been weighing heavy on my heart.

Taken from article:

Gluttony is a sin that many Christians find easy to laugh about and accept as harmless while sins such as being an alcoholic or adulterer are quickly attacked. The sin of gluttony is idolatry – it is a choice to self-love, comfort, and control through food. These Bible verses about gluttony will help you understand the seriousness that God places on this sin.

Refutation to Common Christmas Arguments

I encourage my fellow Christian brothers and sisters to seek God’s truth ❤️ I will not debate this subject as it is pretty straight forward as God has answered my many questions about this subject after I left the practice of Roman Catholicism and started feeling convicted of this pagan-yes pagan- celebration-now that I know the truth ( the truth DOES SET US FREE) there is no going back -SHARED WITH THE LOVE FOR GOD’S TRUTH FOR HIS PEOPLE ❤️❤️❤️

We have no justifiable excuses to continue in our addictions. There are none.

There IS a Way out-His Name Is Jesus ❤

Romans 3:23-26

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

~ TRUE PEACE~

True peace is a gift from God found only through what He has done for us through Christ Jesus ❤ ❤ ❤

COLOSSIANS 3:15 BREAKDOWN:

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts
By “the peace of God” is meant, either the peace believers have with God, which is his gift, and passes all understanding, and flows from a comfortable apprehension of interest in the blood, righteousness, and atonement of Christ; or rather that peace which does, or should subsist among the saints themselves, which God is the author of, calls for, and requires, and encourages in them. The Vulgate Latin, Syriac, and, Ethiopic versions, read, “the peace of Christ”; and so the Alexandrian copy, and some others. This may be said to “reign” in their hearts, when it is the governing principle there; when it restrains the turbulent passions of anger, wrath, and revenge, allays undue heats, moderates the spirits, and composes differences. The metaphor is taken from the judge in the Olympic games, who was the umpire, the moderator, and who determined whose the victory was, and to whom the crown belonged; the apostle would have no other umpire among the saints than the peace of God: and the arguments he uses follow,

to the which also you are called in one body;
the saints in their effectual calling are called to peace by God, who is the God of peace; by Christ, who is the Prince of peace; and by the Spirit, whose fruit is peace; and through the Gospel, which is the Gospel of peace, and into a Gospel state, which lies in peace, righteousness, and joy in the Holy Ghost: and they are not only called to this, but they are called “in one body”; though they are many members, yet they are but one body; and therefore ought to be in peace, and that should bear the sway in them, seeing it is unnatural for members of the same body to quarrel with each other.

And be ye thankful;
which intends either gratitude to men, to fellow creatures, for any service or kindness done by them, especially to the saints, the members of the same body, who are placed in a subservience, and in order to be useful to each other; or else to God, for all spiritual blessings in Christ, and particularly the peace he gives, for the effectual calling, and a place in the body, the church; and “to Christ”, as the Syriac version reads, for all those graces which come from him, and strength to exercise them, and for himself, and an interest in him, who is all in all; and a grateful spirit, both for spiritual and temporal mercies, is a very becoming and beautiful one, and is another part of the ornament of a Christian: this last is added to make way for what follows.
