“If you’re a depressed servant of God, He doesn’t judge but wants to give you the rest and refreshment you need.”

But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he asked that he might die, saying, “It is enough; now, O Lord , take away my life, for I am no better than my fathers.”

1 Kings 19:4 ESV

Great “mountain top” experiences in our lives of faith can be proceeded by “the valley of the shadow of death”. Such was the case with Elijah. He’d just defeated the prophets of baal on mount Carmel, with the Lord sending down fire from heaven on his offering.

But evil queen Jezabel was threatening his life, so Elijah ran away into the wilderness, where he sat exhausted under a broom tree feeling suicidal. After defeating hundreds of false prophets, Elijah needn’t have been afraid of one evil queen. But his fear is understandable.

Even the most faithful of God’s servants…

What a blessing to know…

…my God will NEVER leave me nor FORSAKE me!! I do NOT need to fear what man can do to me!!!

Hebrews 13:5-6

5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Why I Blog 💕

John 8:32

32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

I am a Born Again believer brought out of the practice of Roman Catholicism beginning with  the conviction of God’s Holy Spirit on “Marian” worship. When no one in the “church” parish -including the priest-could point out specifically what scripture in God’s written Word says we are to worship and use Mary (co-redeemer) as a way to Jesus to get to God (“a son always listens to his mother”-theology) I sought God through tears with my heart and soul desperate for HIS answer. This is the scripture I was brought to:
*John 14:6
“6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

It was not easy to leave the practice of Roman Catholicism as many of our family and friends practice it, but as one of my favorite quotes says: “Faith  makes things possible…not easy.”

This whole experience has been the beginning of being taught what loving The Lord our God over everyone and everything no matter the worldly cost truly means. It IS all about God and NOT all about us and what we “feel” we should do so we don’t hurt others feelings. No. It is ALL about obeying and trusting God’s will for us. We are taught to do that not just for ourselves but so that others can come to know Him through the faith He has allowed us to share. How AWESOME is HE to do that? Too  AWESOME for words! TRUST IN AND ON HIM HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING! Like His written Word says in *Isaiah 55-For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

I want to use this blog to share God’s Truth through Jesus The Christ alone. To be His vessel. To encourage those that are lost in this world to be found in true LIFE through our Saviour. Jesus is the only TRUTH and He is the only LIGHT to a dark, decaying world.

Jesus says “…IT IS FINISHED…” in John 19:30  He has finished what we  needed for salvation as a bridge to God The Father. DONE. OVER. TRUST IN HIM.

May those that seek God’s truth with all their hearts have faith in Him knowing that He will answer a sincere heart. He answered mine-I can testify to that in many things!

(*I will not argue or debate anyone. As a Born Again believer you will not convince me that the choice the Lord gave me through His Holy Spirit on the Roman catholic church and any religious practice beyond simplicity found in Jesus the Christ was wrong. The “veil” of religion must be dropped from one’s eyes to SEE the truth.)

Former Catholics for Christ Conference: Session #3: “Christ Alone”

“Some evangelicals mistakenly believe Catholics worship the same Jesus as they do. However, Catholics worship the false christ that is promulgated by their church; the Jesus wafer.”

Today, we continue with our video series from the recent Former Catholics for Christ Conference, which was held at the Southern View Chapel in Springfield, Illinois this past May 17-19.

Below is the video of the third presentation of the conference, titled…

“Christ Alone”
Speaker: Mike Gendron
Presented: Saturday AM, May 18th, 2019

Some evangelicals mistakenly believe Catholics worship the same Jesus as they do. However, Catholics worship the false christ that is promulgated by their church; the Jesus wafer. The Catholic clergy teaches that their Jesus merely opened the doors of Heaven and that is up to each Catholic to receive the church’s sacraments and to obey the Ten Commandments (impossible!) and mandatory church rules in order to possibly merit Heaven at the moment of their death. Catholics refer to their Jesus as “Savior,” but THEY must, in essence, SAVE THEMSELVES with the help of their priests, their…

Peter is NOT here- more delusion!

“We can be close to Peter in a tangible way, which really allows us to be in touch with the weakness of our humanity and see the amazing things that are possible from a man who’s at his core repentant,” DeRouen said. “He understands the value of his friendship with Jesus and the necessity of admitting his own broken humanity.”

… I am grateful to the Good Lord for a friendship He has allowed to be rekindled after 18 years!

Psalm 133;1

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

Proverbs 27:17

Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

John 15:14

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Is the Delusion Already Upon Us?…

“Even Johns Hopkins University, one of the early pioneers of Transgender studies and of Sexual re-assignment surgery now insists that Transgenderism itself is a mental illness”

Pastor Bill Randles Blog

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. ( 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12)

I am beginning to think that the long dreaded, God- sent delusion has already descended upon our generation.

We are being judged by God, judicial blindness has come upon our generation, night has fallen and we have been deceived.

Why do I think so?

Just one example; “Transgender Story Hour”, is now widely considered a wholesome, family friendly event. The very idea that parents would allow transvestites, and other forms of sexual deviants to come into the children’s portion of the all American small town library to read story books to little children is insane.

A mere ten years ago the idea would have been scoffed at, as unworkable, even dangerous, and despicable, there…
