~ Only God could create this… ~

Cardinals are so beautiful! The picture doesn’t do it justice! They sing beautifully and their singing is distinctive from other birds! As I marvel at one each morning that hangs around our house I start wondering: How did God make this beautiful bird to sing? What made Him make a red bird-even red to the beak such a beautiful sight and sound?!

Well, this is the conclusion I came to~yes even when trying to figure out the Cardinal~some things are not for us to know but to just enjoy them and be in awe of God’s beautiful creations~ the whole earth is filled with His glory ❤ ❤ ❤

❤ Psalm 104 ❤

1 Meditation on the power and providence of God’s glory. 31 Eternity of God’s glory.

104 Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.

Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:

Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.

At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.

They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.

Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.

10 He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.

11 They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.

12 By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.

13 He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

14 He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;

15 And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man’s heart.

16 The trees of the Lord are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;

17 Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.

18 The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.

19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.

20 Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.

21 The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.

22 The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.

23 Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.

24 Lord, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

25 So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.

26 There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.

27 These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.

28 That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.

29 Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.

30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.

31 The glory of the Lord shall endure for ever: the Lord shall rejoice in his works.

32 He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.

33 I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

34 My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord.

35 Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the Lord, O my soul. Praise ye the Lord.

1. Sorrow for any thing done or said; the pain or grief which a person experiences in consequence of the injury or inconvenience produced by his own conduct.

2. In theology, the pain, regret or affliction which a person feels on account of his past conduct, because it exposes him to punishment. This sorrow proceeding merely from the fear of punishment, is called legal repentance, as being excited by the terrors of legal penalties, and it may exist without an amendment of life.

3. Real penitence; sorrow or deep contrition for sin, as an offense and dishonor to God, a violation of his holy law, and the basest ingratitude towards a Being of infinite benevolence. This is called evangelical repentance, and is accompanied and followed by amendment of life.

Repentance is a change of mind, or a conversion from sin to God.

Godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation. 2Cor. 7. Matt. 3.

Repentance is the relinquishment of any practice, from conviction that it has offended God.

We are not…

…good people. God is good through us – it is His goodness that teaches us to forgive-love-and have mercy on others that do us wrong. We can’t do that on our own-the credit goes to The Lord our  God -We are blessed by His goodness towards us and therefore we want to share His goodness with others ❤  ❤  ❤

~Ten ways to love~

God says we are to love our neighbors ~These ways may seem hard but The Good Lord says WITH God ALL things are possible ~I believe Him ❤ ❤ ❤

*Leviticus 19:18*

18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.

*Mark 10:27*

27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Does God adopt us into His family, but then give us the boot when (not if) we misbehave? — excatholic4christ

Many people erroneously claim that ALL people are God’s children. “We are all children of God. Everyone! Everyone!” – pope Francis, April 12, 2018 Yes, all people are certainly God’s creation, but according to Scripture, only those who are spiritually reborn by God’s grace through saving faith in Christ Jesus alone can become God’s children: […]

Quick Devotional from Ephesians 5:2 (Observation from the Greek) — The Domain for Truth

This is from my daily Greek exercise of sight reading a few months ago, courtesy of Vincent S Artale Jr. Our text is from the Greek translation of Ephesians 5:2. Here is my translation: “SENTENCE 2 καὶ περιπατεῖτε ἐν ἀγάπῃ And walk in love SUB-POINT καθὼς ‹+ καὶ ὁ Χριστὸς +› ἠγάπησεν ἡμᾶς just as Christ […]
