It is one thing…

…to have to go out into the world and be touched by it.

It’s another thing to go to a building to worship the Lord and find that the world is creeping in and touching the “church (people)” or that the world is already there!

Examine yourselves~and the “head” person of your building:

2 Corinthians 13:5

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

“The true God is not with a lie: He will not give His countenance to falsehood.”

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. -John 1:14 If the Lord be among us, the consequences will be, first, the conservation of true doctrine. The true God is not with a lie: […]

“Jesus first, Jesus only, Jesus my Savior, Jesus my Lord. Jesus my Hiding place.”

This morning I thought I was dealing with depression.

I had to drop off a grand child at the sitters-one at the school-and one at preschool. On the way to preschool my precious grand daughter brings up santa and God. She is telling me in her sweet lil voice they are both real. Then THE question? “Aren’t they Grandma.” I said GOD is real.” She said so is santa right, Grandma?”  I told her politely I love her and can not answer that question. She said “Mommy says santa is real, too.” I could NOT answer her. My heart broke… I WILL tell my son lovingly when it gets brought up that the next time his daughter lies to him to make sure he remembers the lie they are telling her and my grandson…Making a mythical character equal to God.

I had a job 30 minutes away after dropping lil ones where they needed to be! PRAISE THE LORD! I needed it!  I said, “Lord, what is my problem? I KNOW you led me out of this celebration and I am happy to be away from it..just resting in You.”

My answer:  I am grieving! I am grieving all the lies that are going on with this day! Grieving that the world pats itself on the back saying “Merry Christmas” not knowing what that even means…AND as far as that goes if it’s such a special thing to say why not say it EVERYDAY? I could go on and on but it is NOT my job to convict people.

People such as myself have had the Good Lord to place people in their lives to to share God’s truth…seeds planted…some on good ground~some not on such good ground…then people God has used to water those seeds and then HIM growing it!! WHAT AN AWESOME GOD WE GLORY IN!

I would like to share the following blog post just because it also helped me.

His yoke is easy…

It is sad to hear so many people panic because they are no where near ready for the upcoming “celebration”.

BUT it is a relief for me to not to have to worry about any of it and KNOW that Jesus said “IT IS FINISHED”~ knowing He is seated at the right hand of God~and that I can just simply rest my soul in Him ❤ ❤ ❤

John 19:30

30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Hebrews 12:2

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Matthew 11:28-30

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

“So Jesus doesn’t have a birthday as such, as He always existed eternally with the Father.”~ Quoted from Grain Of Wheat’s Blog page. Link shared below.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.”  (John 1:1-2)

“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us…” (John 1:14)

“Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”  (John 8:58)

“Make God shine in the face of the enemy.”

AMEN! We just finished the Book of Job yesterday. As we read the last chapter and came to the last sentence. I wept for Job (it was a HAPPY, GRACIOUS ending) as The Holy Spirit came over me and showed me we all need to be tested and EXACTLY for the reasons that are given in this post! GOD IS GOOD ALL OF THE TIME! He is there for us to get us through the fiery furnace. Sometimes we are put in positions to be “Shadrach Meshach and Abednego”… ❤ We should count it as a blessing always!

Right now getting through this “holiday season” is my “fiery furnace” in my personal life. I KNOW The Good Lord is standing with me! I know He will get me through! I KNOW HE NEVER FAILS ME (OR YOU!)!

Why does God test us when He already knows what we will do? He doesn’t have to ‘find out’ how strong we are…He already knows. He doesn’t have to see what we will choose…He already knows. Yes, God tests us so WE can see how strong we are…or aren’t. Just like any other assessment, tests […]
