“Who taught us to say Merry Christmas? Was it the Holy Spirit? I don’t think so.”

WHY DO BORN AGAIN CHRISTIANS SAY “MERRY CHRISTMAS”?

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

  1. I talked with my cousin today who is an ex-catholic, about the Mass. She still celebrates X Mass and so I asked her if she knew what the word Mass meant in RC speak. She didn’t really know. I asked her if she had ever heard of a Mass being held for the birth of a child. No, she said. I said, the Mass is only for RC funerals, right? She said, yes. I then said that when we say Merry Christmas we are actually saying, Merry Christ’s funeral. It stunned her. Now she wants to go back to the Happy Holidays greetings…she is getting “there.” I also told her that I am praying that those angel ornaments I crocheted for her years ago will get moldy on her… 😀
