We Worship The Son, Not The Sun

Yes, Amen ❤
" If you are reading this post and you are Catholic, and if you truly love Jesus, the One who died for your sins, heed His warning."

Does this monstrance represent God? How very fitting to call this thing that because it IS a monstrous thing that robs God’s glory. Does God desire for anyone to bow to anything crafted by human hands?

Does the One True God who is Spirit and Truth reside in this representation? Did Jesus or any of the apostles prescribe that we craft such a thing to bow to?

Is it okay to bow to this sun looking abomination?

Do not forget John 3:16,

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

The main focus is believing in the Son, nothing extra like veneration of icons and representations of saints and Mary.

How far Catholicism has fused idolatry with Christianity that Christianity is reduced to the veneration of representations, created things rather than the…

Psalm 138

138 I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.

I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.

All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O Lord, when they hear the words of thy mouth.

Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the Lord: for great is the glory of the Lord.

Though the Lord be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

Jesus & The People Pleasers

“There is a common trend within the professing believers in Christ and that is to avoid rocking the boat to keep the peace rather than debunking erroneous doctrines. “

Every believer is familiar with Proverbs 27:17, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.

Definitely easily swallowed but is it easily digestible?

There is a common trend within the professing believers in Christ and that is to avoid rocking the boat to keep the peace rather than debunking erroneous doctrines. Sure we can keep the peace but we shouldn’t avoid exposing faulty interpretations at the sight of a debate. There’s a bad debate and a healthy debate. Then there’s the type that is quite pointless. This is where discerning motives come in and we should certainly not balk at the opportunity of contending for the faith (Jude 1:3).

Jesus, the One you profess to follow called out erroneous practices of the Pharisees which went against God’s commands. So if your master does that, would it then be wrong to mirror Him in that manner? Of course we…

Are Catholics Christians?

“At first, it was hard for me to let it go since it was everything I knew but God slowly transitioned me to a fellowship of Christian believers who teaches biblical doctrine and not manmade tradition.”

I was born into the Catholic faith but has not arrived to a “surrender my life to Jesus Christ” moment until I was 21. I always did think I was Christian but I was in for a rude awakening. I can attest that most Catholics stay in the religion because it is all they know having been raised in the faith since infancy.

Catholics know Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation but the doctrines of the faith mar Jesus’ “SOLE” redemptive atonement for our sins. Most people in the faith believe they can get to heaven by the merit of their good works… If it were so, then Jesus’ death on the Cross was in vain and that false misconception means that we would have no need for a Savior at all, if that were really the case. He died for everyone’s past, present, and future sins, all…

You would think…

…a “pastor” would know and understand this.  😦

Matthew 6:19-21

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

“The body of Paris Wallace, a pastor from Colorado, was found last week by investigators along the Rio Grande just west of Santa Fe, according to The Albuquerque Journal. ”

He IS the victory in our life’s!

My Savior, You Have Offered Rest

My Savior, You have offered rest,
Oh! give it, then, to me;
The rest of ceasing from myself,
To find my all in Thee.
This cruel self, oh! how it strives
And works within my breast,
To come between You and my soul,
And keep me back from rest.
How many subtle forms it takes
Of seeming verity,
As if it were not safe to rest
And venture all on Thee.
And yet it was no little price
That bought this rest for me;
T’was purchased at the mighty cost
Of Jesus’ agony.
I only enter on the rest,
Obtained by labors done;
I only claim the victory
By Him so dearly won.
And, Lord, I seek a holy rest,
A victory over sin;
I seek that You alone should reign
Over all, without, within.
In quietness, then, and confidence,
Savior– my strength shall be;
And, “Take me, for I cannot come,”
Is still my cry to Thee.
In Your strong hand I lay me down,
So shall the work be done;
For who can work so wondrously
As an Almighty One?
Work on then, Lord, until on my soul
Eternal light shall break;
And in Your likeness perfected,
I, “satisfied,” shall wake.
