Isaiah 55

Isaiah 55

1 A call to faith and repentance. 8 Happiness of believer’s.

55 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.

Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the Lord thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.

Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

I Wish ~ I Wish~ I Wish!!!

Do not wish. Pray.

Be careful what you pray for.

We need God’s will to be done. Not our own.

We need to accept His will. Not fight Him for our own.

Seek Him with ALL of your heart. Trusting in and on Him.

Jeremiah 29:11-13

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

We do not find God in a place but in a…

Amos 5:5-6

But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought.

Seek the Lord, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel.

We are not a great man.

“The usefulness
of a true
servant of the

Lord Jesus
Christ depends
on his
humility. As

soon as he
thinks of

himself as a
great man,

and is puffed
up, the Spirit

is grieved
and the real

power of his
ministry will

be gone.
And how

many have
fallen into

this snare!”

Only God is GREAT ❤

“He only is my rock and my salvation…”

Psalm 62

62 Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.

He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.

They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.

Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.

10 Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.

11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.

12 Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.

The Watched Christian

Let us therefore be very watchful, that we live close to Christ, that we walk in His commandments always that the world may see that the Lord hath put a difference …between you and the world. ~ C.H. Spurgeon

He Hath Said

And do not be conformed to thisworld, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. – Romans 12:2

The more the Church is distinct from the world in her acts and in her maxims, the more true is her testimony for Christ, and the more potent is her witness against sin. We are sent into this world to testify against evils; but if we dabble in them ourselves, where is our testimony? If we ourselves be found faulty, we are false witnesses; we are not sent of God, our testimony is of none effect. I do not hesitate to say there are tens of thousands of professing Christians, whose testimony before the world is rather injurious than beneficial. The world looks at them, and says, “Well, I see: you can be a…

Jeremiah 33:3
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”

Pastor Neson. A friend for over 30 years visited me, as I await answers, in our local Hospital. (Heart and Respiratory questions).

As he left he spoke this verse as part of his Prayer.

Jeremiah 33:3
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

It is a favorite verse for many. Call, I will Answer, and not just answer, but enlighten.

That is the God we serve. He always goes over and above our wants, desires and needs.

He does exceedingly, abundantly above all we ask, think or even imagine.

Sometimes he answers us using other people. The question for us is.
“Will we hear His voice?” If we acknowledge it, will we obey it?

Great and mighty things, await…

The best weapon against your enemy is…

…LOVE and PRAYER! AMEN! And ~ !YES! ~ it is possible to do this! For it is done for God’s glory and honor through HIs Holy Spirit! Not our own works! ❤

** Matthew 5:43-48 **

43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
