“It is even a vapour…”

We need to know our Savior now and live in God’s will now.  Saying “I will wait until later so I can do the things I want to do now” won’t save you when your time is up on this earth. In all your earthly goals is knowing and trusting and obeying God through Jesus The Christ your goal first? If God bores you with worshipping Him now on earth, how would you handle worshipping God day and night for an eternity? Our life is but a vapour and I am experiencing this first hand as many people I know are quickly passing this week-young and old…death knows no age.

**James 4:13-17**

13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:

14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.

17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

  1. Considering the world we live in, one in which sudden death can happen to us at any moment, we need to be sure we are the beloved of the Lord’s…how many were prepared for the other side of death yesterday? 😦

    1. AMEN! Exactly ❤ My mom and I were just discussing that this a.m. What about 9/11?? Then after time went on for most after that tragedy, complacency again set back in…THERE IS NO TIME FOR COMPLACENCY! Glory to God when He changes a life through disasters…yes. He is GOOD like that, too ❤
