It is always dis~heartening when you strive to share God’s truth for one’s own good and you are mocked for it. It can actually bring one to tears. We can’t let the devil steal our joy. KEEP ON KEEPING ON REMEMBERING THAT WE TOO ONCE WERE MOCKERS OF THE TRUTH! Thankful for God’s grace and mercy!!!
God tells us to love our enemies. That is His command. And for His glory and honor all things are possible.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
“Love your enemies…” The Lord says to. ❤️
As I have roamed this “world” and cleaned people’s homes this “season” the Lord through His Holy Spirit laid a question upon my heart. Cleaning homes (and being out in the world!) I am exposed to all kinds of décor this time of the year. Wiping and blowing dust off of several “nativity” scenes (that by the way are not set up according to scripture) I looked at them and this question was laid upon me: WHICH STATUE IS JESUS? There are portrayals of serious ones~ cutesy ones~ impy looking ones~ hipster ones~ Precious Moment versions…on and on and on! If this truly is ALL about Jesus The Son Of God why so many portrayals? I will tell you why. Because we do not know what Jesus looked like~ we worship Him the way we want~and MOSTLY because HE IS TAKEN EVER SO LIGHTLY 😦
Scripture IS truth! As Christians-BIBLE BELIEVING- we are to search God’s Written Word~like The Bereans~to see if something we are told or see is truth. God’s Truth. Scripture tells us how to worship Him the way God instructs us to in one verse:
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
IT’S THAT SIMPLE! We are not to worship Him with images. That is a commandment. I know it can be difficult to shake all the images we have been shown our entire life’s of a “Jesus” . But with God and for God ALL things are possible!
I do not believe God made us “VISUAL” people when it comes to worshipping Him. If He did why would He have said that we are to worship Him in SPIRIT and in TRUTH? Trick of the devil. Aaron thought when he built the golden calf that he was using it to worship God. That didn’t go over to well did it?
I was a HUGE celebrator of this manmade tradition! Believe me! Now that I have had the religious veil removed I have been blessed to have had my eyes opened to many non-truths. This “celebration/tradition” and the “spirit” behind it being one. Believe me it was SHOCKING! But again it has been another choice I have had to make: God’s way? Man’s way? You know my choice.
I pray that you too will seek His truth. As a Born Again believer I celebrate Him everyday. I am not telling you not to celebrate. I am asking you WITH LOVE to seek God’s Truth. His truth will set you free! There is a “bondage” that comes with this celebration that the TRUE spirit of The Lord does not put upon us! He keeps us filled with the joy of our Redeemer-our Saviour-JESUS THE CHRIST- GOD’S ONLY BEGOTTEN SON-through His Holy Spirit year round-unlike the crash and burn effect that can happen to most after the celebration is over-and the “spirit of Christmas” has left us. (I remember that empty feeling.) It’s not about us and what we want…IT IS ABOUT GOD AND WHAT HE WANTS.
Shared with the ABSOLUTE love of God’s Truth that sets us free! ❤

*People who are crucified with Christ have three distinct marks:
1. they are facing only one direction,
2. they can never turn back, and
3. they no longer have plans of their own.
*How else but through a broken heart may Lord Christ enter in?
*Salvation is a work of God for man,
rather than a work of man for God. —Lewis Sperry Chafer (1871-1952)
*Religion today is not transforming people; rather it is being
transformed by the people. It is not raising the moral level of society;
it is descending to society’s own level, and congratulating itself that it
has scored a victory because society is smilingly accepting its
surrender. —A. W. Tozer (1897-1963)

“Church”.— (Anne Askew – Martyred for her faith at Smithfield in 1545)
*ONE OF MY VERY FAVORITE QUOTES:
“FAITH ENDS WHERE WORRY BEGINS, WORRY ENDS WHERE FAITH BEGINS.”
DO NOT BE BEGUILED. DO NOT BE DECEIVED. THERE IS A SIMPLICITY IN CHRIST. REST IN HIM.
2 Corinthians 11:3 – But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
2 Corinthians 11:14 – And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
“Satan is not fighting churches; he is joining them. He does more harm by sowing tares than by pulling up wheat. He accomplishes more by imitation than by outright opposition.”
“Satan has no difficulty in making sin look innocent.”
“Satan promises the best, but pays with the worst; he promises honour and pays with disgrace; he promises pleasure and pays with pain; he promises profit and
pays with loss; he promises life and pays with death.”
“All Satan’s Apples Have Worms. I do not deny that the Devil has some pretty apples; I just say that all of them are fakes and that after you bite into them, you will find they have worms. All Satan’s apples have worms.”
*Shared true quotes. Not mine.*
Luke 9:37, 46;
Lord, I remember how it was upon the mountain top, that day.
We saw Thy glory and we wished that we never come away!
My heart was wholly Thine that day–
or so I thought, beneath Thy sway;
I fancied I would never follow sin again, nor from Thee stray.
But Lord– the following day…
The valley way!
The scorching shame of finding out my sin,
Seeing my greedy heart, the pride within!
How could I gorge so soon on this world’s pleasure
After that glorious glimpse of Heaven’s Treasure?
Bitter the lesson that I learned.
All of my joy to torture turned
On finding in me “no good thing;”
Desperate, I cried for rescuing.
Sweet, then, the Spirit’s voice I heard,
Breaking sin’s bonds as with a sword;
Triumphantly there came the word,
“Victory through Christ our Lord!”
Lord, I remember both those days.
For which should I offer greatest praise?
