I know a lot of people don’t care for snow. The older I get the more I like it when I don’t have to drive in it. I appreciate it more from my kitchen window.

That being said there is a beauty in it.  First of all God created it. It is one of those things He has made to be in part of His creation! So yes it is beautiful! WHITE-CLEAN-PURE-falling from that spectacular sky God has also created.

We had our first snow fall yesterday. Instead of grumbling about it I am going to use it as just ONE MORE THING to add to my list of ways we can worship God! Even in the beauty of snow (sometimes even in the chaos it can create! 😉 ) He is good like that, too!

The  beauty in “white as snow ” when we have turned to the Lord is spectacular. So when you see that white snow remember His faithfulness to forgive us our sins that had been as scarlet!  He takes them and  makes them “white as snow” when we give them over to Him..FORGIVEN! Makes them dead like the white snow that falls from the sky kills off the  grass from the past season! Then the white snow prepares the ground for new growth! SUCH AN AWESOME -SPECTACULAR – ALL KNOWING GOD! HIS MAJESTY IS NEVER ENDING!

Isaiah 1:18 – Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Matthew 28:3 – His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

Psalms 51:7 – Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Psalms 68:14 – When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was [white] as snow in Salmon.

Revelation 1:14 – His head and [his] hairs [were] white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes [were] as a flame of fire;

Daniel 7:9 – I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment [was] white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne [was like] the fiery flame, [and] his wheels [as] burning fire.

Numbers 12:10 – And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam [became] leprous, [white] as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, [she was] leprous.

  1. Okay, I do thank God that the stuff is pretty-frosting the landscape with white that sparkles in the sun like mounds of crushed jewels…but does it have to be so cold?! 😮

    And I sing, White As Snow…

    Have a wonderfully blessed day, Elizabeth! \o/
