I dealt many years with depression, followed by alcohol and drugs mixed with an eating disorder… BUT HALLELUJAH JESUS SAVED ME! He pulled me out of the miry clay and showed me THE TRUE CURE to my sinful, hate filled heart. Call on Him. He is waiting for you! Wanting to make you a new creature!

Psalm 40:2 “He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.”

*WE NEED HIM. WE NEED TO KEEP HIM EACH NEW DAY. HE IS THE BEST “MEDICINE” “EVER!*

Oh, Lord, You’re Beautiful

Oh Lord, You’re beautiful
Your face is all I seek
For when Your eyes are on this child
Your grace abounds to me

Oh Lord, You’re beautiful
Your face is all I seek
For when Your eyes are on this child
Your grace abounds to me

I wanna to take Your word and shine it all around
But first help me to just, live it Lord
And when I’m doing well, help me to never seek a crown
For my reward is giving glory to You

Oh Lord, please light the fire
That once burned bright and clear
Replace the lamp of my first love
That burns with holy fear

I want to take Your word and shine it all around
But first help me just to live Lord
And when I’m doing well, help me to never seek a crown
For my reward is giving glory to You

Oh Lord, You’re beautiful
Your face is all I seek
For when Your eyes are on this child
Your grace abounds to me

Oh Lord, You’re beautiful
Your face is all I seek
For when Your eyes are on this child
your grace abounds to me

Amen.

“Fruit Cobbler”

I am one to scribble and write notes and scriptures on anything in front of me. You?

It seems I am always running across napkins, the corners of fast food bags, bank envelopes, etc that I have written things down on that I was really touched by or I may have  felt was very significant and worth sharing or just something the Lord was gracious enough to open my eyes to.

I found one this morning rummaging around. It was one that I had written pertaining to religion and what I compared it to in that moment. Here it is:

“I compare religion to a *fruit cobbler. Instead of just eating the delicious fruit the way it is we add things to it that are not good for us or needed for our health. We like to make it more palatable. The way we like it. The fruit alone is all we NEED.  Religion wants to add to what Jesus has already done for us. Making it palatable to man’s liking. Religion does not want to leave the simplicity of Jesus and enjoy the existing fruit that He is for us. Jesus is all we NEED. Nothing man can add to Him is going to make Him any sweeter and more tasteful than He SIMPLY already is all on His own. ”

It is such a blessing to be born again and to be set free from the captivity of man’s religious ways. What a blessed day when I “felt” the shackles loosen and “heard” the clank of the chains fall to the ground!

John 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
FREEDOM , SWEET FREEDOM!

Have a blessed day remembering that day you felt the shackles loosen and heard those chains  falling to the ground that you had been bound by! HALLELUJAH!

*I DO LIKE COBBLER! I AM NOT CONDEMNING IT  😉

Breaking News:  theunfetteredpreacher

AMEN!
There are to be no divisions!
10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and [that] there be no divisions among you; but [that] ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them [which are of the house] of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.

12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.

13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

Breaking News for all Catholics, Lutherans, Baptists, Methodists and all Denominational Christianity.

Peter, was not a Catholic.

Martin Luther was not a Lutheran.

John the Baptist, was not a Baptist.

John Wesley, was not a Methodist.

Surprised?

They were all followers of Christ. It was those who followed them, that have screwed up, and split up, the Christian Church.

If you wish to follow Christ, we must, read His Word, Know His Word, Obey His Word.

Recognizing that these men of God, Holy, Powerful, Leaders, of their times, did not have or understand the whole council of God.

The Lords reveals Himself to those who seek Him. As we understood salvation individually, so is it with the rest of His Word.

Revelation is available to whosoever will accept it, obey it, and walk with Him.

“Be ye not unequally yoked…”

2 Corinthians 6:14 “ Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”

BEWARE!

“What do you think about Pope Francis?” is a pointed question for Evangelicals especially. They seem to be the target of Pope Francis’ efforts towards friendship, reconciliation and unity. Befriending Evangelicals by talking and behaving like them may be a Jesuit way to convert evangelical kings of influence and absorb the Evangelical movement, the fastest growing portion of the Christian world. This is why it is vitally important for evangelicals to know who Pope Francis really is.”

Psalm 23

Good morning! I heard a gentlemen sing  Psalm 23 yesterday. Moved me to tears as every word of this Psalm sunk in to bless me with God’s goodness and mercy that we have been allowed forever and ever!~ Amen

HAVE A BLESSED DAY AS YOU ARE REMINDED THROUGH THIS PSALM OF THE LOVE GOD HAS GIVEN US THROUGH JESUS.

Psalm 23

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

“But without faith…”

Hebrews 11:5-7

By faith Enoch was *translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an *ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

*TRANSLATED~ To remove or convey to heaven, as a human being, without death.

*Jesus is now our ark that God has so graciusly given us to “climb aboard” for safety through the storms of life.

“Faith sees further than sight.”

FAITH SCRIPTURES~ Just a (very) few reminders from scripture to get us going this morning. Without FAITH we have nothing. We definitely have nothing to set our sights on for our eternity that our God ~our Father~so graciously gave His Only Begotten Son~Jesus The Christ~ for. Everything else is “temporal” and will NEVER satisfy our hungry hearts. That hunger in our hearts needs to be fed spiritually not fed with physical things of this world. When we feed on the temporal things of this world we are never “full”…never satisfied. And the search just drags on and on and on to try to finalize that “craving” ourselves. BUT~ FAITH~ SWEET FAITH! THE CHOCOLATE OF OUR LIVES! GOD THROUGH FAITH PUTS AN END TO THOSE CRAVINGS!

*2 Corinthians 4:18 “ While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

*Hebrews 11:1   “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

*1 Corinthians 2:5 “That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”

*Luke 1:37 ” For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

*Mark 11:22 “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.”

*Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed..”

We are blessed with seven children. Two of them are identical twins with Down Syndrome. I was looking for something to do during the day  while they attend school. I also needed to find something that would allow me to let my children come first and not lose my job if they became ill and I had to be away for an extended period of time.

Everything fell into place (all glory and honor to our great God) and I started cleaning houses. One house quickly became 6 houses!

I can work from 8-2:30 depending on the distance to and from each job. One day I was at a job that is 30 minutes away. In the midst of that job I started getting anxious. I wanted to do a good job with the time I had but I wasn’t going to have enough time. So, I was trying to think of a way to cut corners on that job. That bothered me because to me I felt like I would be cheating that client. “But my boys…” I would try to reason…

Next thing I know I “hear” this: “YOU DO AN HONEST JOB AND I WILL TAKE CARE OF THE TIME.”

I looked around. There was no one in that room. I said to myself, “OK! I WILL”.

Guess what? I did what I was told and I had 30 minutes extra time!!

LET GOD BE YOUR BOSS AT WORK! How we work on a job all goes back to Him and is another way to be able to testify of Him, I charge $10 an hour. I have never asked for anymore. This particular lady that is further away started out paying me $50 for 5 hours work is now paying me $75 ! ALL GLORY TO MY TOP BOSS-THE LORD!

What started out as something to do while the youngest children attend school has become a testimony to all 5 of the catholic practicing ladies I clean for (1 is not). He has shown me to love them and do a good honest job in His name. I do not preach to them but when opportunity arises I say what I feel led to say. God does the saving we just say what we are led to say. Some people will never come out of “her”. That is for a different post all together.

Not only do I get to do what I like to do, I get to point the finger back at Him when they thank me!

Colossians 3:17

17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

**P.S. I do not believe in the prosperity gospel. I am not sharing this because of the money. I shared because it pays to be honest and do a good job for The Lord’s HONOR AND GLORY not ours. It is a testimony of Him to be shared in due time.

Remember no matter what happens today we are ALWAYS blessed because we are born again believers and we KNOW Who our Lord and Saviour is! Do we need anymore than that?~Amen
